Physical health and exercise have always been important to me, but as I grew older I made excuses for not exercising as much. Ali, in her gentle way, consistently encouraged me to train with her, but never pressured me. Once I committed to working with Ali I realized what a gift it truly is. Ali is my daughter, and it thrills me to see what a passion she has for her work. She has dedicated so much time and energy educating herself in the area of mind, body & fitness and how to help others on their health journeys. I now see the benefit of personal training that is customized to your own issues, abilities and fitness goals It is wonderful to see the satisfaction she receives knowing she is truly helping others, and having her help me on my journey to stay strong and healthy is the best feeling. Ali is a remarkable trainer. I have worked with other people but I have never experienced the combination of intuitiveness, encouragement and results. Though we work out on Zoom, she is able to see everything and suggest tiny adjustments that make the workouts so effective and safe. She is able to read my energy levels and my body to calibrate a specific, effective session. If I am feeling tired, she will ease into it and then by the end, I realize she has slowly amped up the workout without me even realizing it. If I am feeling more energetic, she will tailor the workout to suit my needs that day. Not only have I gotten stronger, but my balance, my intuitiveness about my body and my enthusiasm for working out have all increased. My 20 year old has also been working out with Ali and I hope my husband will soon too! I cannot recommend her highly enough for any and everyone, no matter what your age is!

I am so grateful that Ali has been my personal trainer for some years now I’m not the easiest student to train – over 70, more than a few pounds above my desired weight, and not naturally flexible. But from the beginning of our training relationship via Zoom, Ali has been positive and encouraging, able to adjust her approach to meet both my goals and my schedule. She motivates and encourages me (even when I am not as sunny as she) and is always attentive to my safety. I appreciate that Ali maintains an up-to-date knowledge of exercise science and injury prevention. And today, after I easily climbed the four steep flights of stairs at the station because the escalator was out (no need to crowd into the elevator!), and then easily picked up a dropped item for a younger peer who cannot bend down as easily as I, I mentally thanked Ali for her persistence.

I started working out with Ali on Zoom a year and a half ago when I was 55 because I wanted to build strength and stability and heal pain in my knee. Three months of therapy had done nothing, but a few weeks after working with Ali, I noticed improvements and increased range of motion in my knee. Ali is extremely intuitive and agile - no matter what is going on with my body or energy level, she creates a workout on the spot that provides exactly what I need. Her sessions are deceptively challenging because she combines stabilizing and strengthening exercises that require using several muscle groups at a time. There's no heaving or pools of sweat - the movements are precise and slow - but my strength and muscle tone have increased. Working out with Ali is good for my mental state too: I always end our sessions feeling energized no matter how lazy I feel.

I've been training with Ali for a couple of months now, and I couldn't be happier with my progress and the significant change in my posture. Ali not only focuses on physical health, but she also aids in my mental health housekeeping as well. She motivates me to work harder and has an incredible eye for movement (she's a dancer). I'm someone who lacks confidence in movement, and Ali has given me confidence through positive affirmations and a generous spirit. All in all, Ali's an incredible trainer who is sensitive, smart, kind, and talented.

Being fit and enjoying hiking, skiing, tennis, golf, gardening, and yoga have always been important to me. But nagging back and hip pain were getting in the way of my active lifestyle (I'm over 50). I'm so glad I found Ali! She is a knowledgeable and highly intuitive personal trainer with an exceptional understanding of body mechanics and movement. She quickly detected imbalances that were serious contributors to pain during certain activities. After only a few sessions, she got me started on a program that has increased my strength, balance, and flexibility. It has transformed how I move and feel! Ali is supportive, positive, professional, and encouraging. I always enjoy our sessions, whether on Zoom or in person. I highly recommend her!

I've been working with Ali for a little over six months now and it's been such a great experience! I had never worked with a personal trainer before and it had been a long time since I had gone to the gym so I had a lot of anxiety starting up again. However, from our very first session, I felt put at ease instantly and it made me feel really excited to start exercising again. Not only is Ali great to be around but she is very good at her job and tries to understand your body to see what you need to work on to achieve your goals. I can't highly recommend Ali enough especially for anyone needing a bit more motivation to get back into the gym!

Ali is such a joy! She brings so much positive energy and good vibes to our sessions and I truly look forward to them each time. I was nervous beginning because I had never done anything like this before and had no experience outside of running on a treadmill when in a gym. You can tell she really understands the way the human body moves and I always feel safe and secure when trying new things. I've had recurring injuries that have sidelined me for the better part of a year, and Ali has patiently listened and worked with me at the level my body could handle. She has a never-ending array of things to try, which keeps things interesting and challenging. She's also endlessly encouraging and enthusiastic. After a few months, I'm closer to being back in fighting shape than I ever thought l'd get-I'm doing the physical things I love with far less pain. And I had fun doing it because Ali is a huge delight to be with!

LOVE working with Ali! She's attuned to my fitness level and makes modifications and adjustments as appropriate. Her warmups and cool downs are really great for muscle health, flexibility, and soreness, and even after just a few weeks, I'm already seeing my posture and strength improve. Ali is kind, body-positive, has a great sense of humor, and a set of bangin' playlists. Highly recommend working with her.

I started training with Ali after a few rounds of PT for a low back injury. I was looking for someone who could get me moving while safely guiding me through strengthening my body; plus, they would also be a kind and encouraging presence to make training sessions enjoyable.
