My greatest joy in working with clients comes from helping each person feel deeply connected to their body and move without pain. I've worked with people of all ages, body types, abilities, and challenges— each leaving their sessions feeling more embodied and uplifted than when they arrived.

Movement is my first language, and through it, I guide others toward newfound confidence, helping them build physical stability, strength, and mobility. I learned the vital importance of movement for mind, body, and spirit through years devoted to exercise for sport, competition, and performance.

Ali McRae's professional training career spans seven years, but her connection to movement and embodiment extends throughout her life. Growing up as a dancer, gymnast, and springboard diver, Ali discovered that movement was more than just fun and competition—it became a powerful tool for healing and self-expression.

After earning her BA in Dance Choreography and Performance, Ali found her next passion in yoga, becoming a certified Vinyasa instructor in 2015. Her journey continued as she studied under three of Manhattan's top personal trainers, leading to her NASM Personal Training certification. Always eager to learn, Ali has since earned certifications in TRX and Silver Sneakers, become a Corrective Exercise Specialist, and has most recently graduated from a 14-month course to become a Somatic educator.

As a functional movement and embodiment specialist, Ali's mission is to educate each client on ways to lovingly inhabit their unique and beautiful body. Having begun her own yoga practice at age 14, she finds this work is naturally woven into almost every session. She adores teaching people how to better enjoy their vessels by improving awareness, compassion, strength and mobility. Ali approaches her practice holistically—embracing mind, body, and spirit—and brings this integrated philosophy to every session, caring deeply for each client's overall well-being.
